I just found an excellant article entitled, The Easiest Way To Succeed As An Entrepreneur
In it James talks about what is needed to start a business.
Do you think it is an idea?
Do you think it is execution?
Do you think it is money?
While all the above are great to have, the only thing you need to start a business is a customer.
Having a customer means you are fulfilling a need. Having a customer means you are going to have money. Having a customer means you have to do something. Having a customer means having an idea. It all starts with the customer.
Once you have a customer you can ask them two simple questions…
“Who else do you know that can use this product and/or service?”
“What else can I do for you?”
From those two questions spring the growth of your business.
Connect with your customers. Find out their dreams, hopes, desires. Give them what they want.
Give your customers the world, and you will receive the world in return.
